Yes, changes to your reservation can be made based on availability at the time of your request. You are able to make changes to your reservation such as the number of drivers or date/time, or even the course.
However, if you wish to make changes or cancel your booking within 6 days prior (Japan Standard Time) to your activity date, our Cancellation Policy will apply.
Yes. Our standard insurance plan with basic coverage is indeed included in the tour fee, but you will have to pay a deductible if there are any kart damages due to bumping, scratching, rough driving or accidents. The deductible of 50,000 JPY/vehicle will be billed right after the tour.
The standard insurance plan covers:
・odily Injury (other than driver) : Limited to 80,000,000 JPY
・Property Damage : Limited to 20,000,000 JPY
・Driver Injury: Limited to 5,000,000 JPY
Therefore, we highly recommend our valuable customers choosing the full coverage insurance plan when making the reservation online or at the shop with an additional fee.
The full coverage insurance plan covers:

Our guide for this activity was amazing! It was a super fun experience with very competent and well-prepared 50cc gas-powered karts. Throughout the ride, our guide took pictures at every stoplight, and we could also rent a GoPro or bring our own to mount on the steering wheel. The route passed through the busiest streets of Shibuya, so depending on the time of day, you might spend a lot of time waiting at traffic lights. However, the fun of being dressed as your favorite character and the reactions of the people around you are absolutely worth it. The local facilities and safety protocols were also well taken care of.
The Shibuya tour was so much fun! We got to explore the famous Shibuya Crossing, Omotesando, and Harajuku. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. The weather was a bit rainy at first, but it cleared up and was perfect for the rest of the ride. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Tokyo!
I had an awesome time with our guide! I was a bit nervous about driving in Japan, but they made sure to guide us through each stop and ensured we were safe throughout. I felt comfortable driving through unfamiliar streets with them leading the way. They also took lots of great photos at every stop, which I really appreciated. This was definitely a highlight of our trip! The shop also offered fun character costumes, and it was so fun waving to pedestrians in Tokyo as they waved back or took pictures of us.
We booked this for our two-week Japan trip and it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE HAD IN JAPAN. Our guide was absolutely fantastic, cracking jokes, preparing us well before we hit the road, and ensuring our safety throughout the ride. They also took many photos and gave us a printed photo as a souvenir, which was a thoughtful gesture. It was super fun driving around and waving at everyone on the sidewalk.
